Methodology of Cultural Studies Research (in English – 30 h lecture)
The course is oriented towards acquisition of basics of knowledge about the role of methods of social and cultural studies research and their influence in social life. The student develops orientation in basic concepts, tools and methods of cultural research and in practice of planning, conducting of research project, analysis and interpretation of data. The course prepares to interprete data and present results of research projects and also developes ability of critical thinking in reception and interpretation of the data from social and cultural research.

Upon completion of the course, the student will:
MCSR_01 knows the basics of methods of social research and cultural studies research
MCSR_02 uses basic theoretical concepts, research paradigms and notions appropriate for cultural studies in typical professional situations
MCSR_03 acquires basic research skills, including formulating research problems, choice of methods and research tools, editing and presentation of results leading to solving basic problems in cultural studies
MCSR_04 is critical towards knowledge which acquires, dominating authorities, ideologies and fashions
