Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- understand single sentences,
- recognize and use grammatically correct forms without hindering the communication process,
- understand short simple texts,
- use Polish to communicate in typical everyday situations and take part in conversation employing politeness strategies by the interlocutors,
- edit short texts using the principal rules of grammatical correctness.
Assessment criteria
Assessment criteria:
very good (bdb; 5,0): a very good command of English at B1 proficiency level according to the detailed syllabus.
good plus (+db; 4,5): a very good command of English (with minor flaws) at B1 proficiency level according to the detailed syllabus.
good (db; 4,0): a good command of English at B1 proficiency level according to the detailed syllabus.
satisfactory plus (+dst; 3,5): a satisfactory command of English at B1 proficiency level according to the detailed syllabus.
satisfactory (dst; 3,0): very basic communication skills in English at B1proficiency level according to the detailed syllabus.
unsatisfactory (ndst; 2,0): a lack of skills to use English at B1proficiency level according to the detailed syllabus.
