��� Presentation of the information on the botanical terminology and systematics of plants. ��� Recognition and naming of different types of vegetable raw materials. ��� Becoming acquainted with national and exotic herbs used in cosmetics. ��� Becoming familiar with chemical composition, curing and cosmetics actions of herbs. ��� Attaining information on the purity standards and conditions of lodging, processing and storage of herb raw materials. ��� Understanding of the role of selected vegetable based drugs in some skin disease treatment. LEARNING OUTCOMES: Completion of this course results in gaining: 1. Knowledge and understanding of the types of vegetable raw materials and their processing. 2. Knowledge of the most important vegetable raw materials, their chemical composition, cosmetic action, application in cosmetics and cosmetology. 3. Ability to use botanical terminology for cosmetics purpose.
