Presentation of information on technological methods used for production of cosmetic products. Instruction in fundamental technological processes for obtaining, processing and purification of cosmetic raw products. Detail explanation of the physico-chemical processes and phenomena used for production of cosmetics on a technological scale. LEARNING OUTCOMES: after completion of the course the students are expected 1) to know and understand methods of preparation of cosmetics on a technological scale, 2) to have ability to prepare appropriate raw products for production of cosmetics, 3) to have ability to differentiate and critically compare options of formulations and technological processes.
