Chromatographic Metods 02-MCHL
This course aims to provide basic knowledge of chromatographic processess, efficiency of the chromatographic systems and the consequences of vanDeemeter equation. Students should also become familiar with chromatographic detectors, basics of HPLC (particularly RP HPLC), SEC, IC. Moreover introduction to electromigration methods is provided.
LEARNING OUTCOMES: Upon completion of the course students should have: basic knowledge of the chromatographic processes, they should realize the consequeces of vanDeemeter equation for the processes, should be able to choose properly the chromatographic system for the required separation; to assses properly the efficiency of the chromatografic column; to manipulaste properly with retention in RP HPLC system. Students should have basic knowledge of SEC, IC and electromigration methods.
