Biologically active materials and its analysis 02-MBCL
Recognition of the problems related to selected chemical compounds of known biological activity. Learning the ability to perform quantitative analysis of selected chemical compounds and to interpret the results. Students are expected to: 1/ know the chemical compounds of biological activity and understand their effects; 2/ be able to choose the proper analytical technique to analyse particular chemical compounds (from sample collection to getting the result; 3/ to give a correct interpretation of the results on the basis of the directives of WHO, EU legal solutions, toxicology and legal acts concerning the environment protection, and to indicate practical aspects of the analysis.
