Organometalic chemistry 02-CKMF
After the students have been familiarised with the special apparatuses and techniques of conduction of experiments in a neutral atmosphere, they are asked to perform a cycle of practical tasks that can be realised at the laboratory. The problems covered in laboratory have been divided to match the division of the lecture on the chemistry of organometallic compounds into two blocks: A - Synthesis of organometallic compounds with the main metal group elements; B - Synthesis of organometallic compounds with transition metals.
The laboratory tasks from block A are selected to expose the students to the methods of syntheses, structure, chemical properties and reactivity of the ionic and covalent organometallic complexes with the s and p block metals. The laboratory tasks from block B deal with the organometallic complexes with transition metals.
